Q: What exactly do I get with my subscription?

A: Platinum members get my single best tip every day at 8:30am sharp, plus the full Gold V2 weekend service. Gold V2 members get 6 weekend tips across Friday to Sunday, first drop 8:55am with a lunchtime update. That's it — the value is in the simplicity.

Q: How do the tips arrive?

A: By private Telegram message, one-to-one. When you join you'll get a personal access code — takes about a minute to set up, and from then on tips just appear in your Miss Ivy Tips chat at the set times. No groups: no member can ever see another member. You can reply in that chat any time and it comes straight to us. (Telegram labels automated delivery accounts a “bot” — that's just their word for it; it's our official private line.)

Q: I don't have Telegram — is that a problem?

A: No — it's a free app, installed in under a minute, and your access code does the rest. We'll walk you through it when you join.

Q: What price do you quote?

A: The best available price across the major bookmakers (TAB, Sportsbet, Ladbrokes — plus Betr and Pointsbet for V2), checked LIVE seconds before your tip is sent. We never quote a stale morning price that's already gone.

Q: How do I know your results are real?

A: Every tip is recorded at the price we actually sent, and results are published to our public results page within about an hour of the race — winners and losers alike, at “bet to win $500” staking so the record is consistent and comparable. Only official results are published: nothing goes up until correct weight is declared, nothing is deleted, nothing is massaged.

Q: Do I have to bet to win $500?

A: Definitely not. It's purely the measuring stick for our published results — bet whatever suits you.

Q: Is there a tip every day?

A: Most days of the year — we've averaged a tip a day since January. If I don't like anything, I won't send anything: no tip beats a bad tip. You'll always be told either way.

Q: What happens if the tipped horse is scratched?

A: If it's scratched before you could reasonably bet, we send a replacement tip or an extra tip later in the week, and the scratching is recorded on the results page as a no-bet — it never counts as a loss.

Q: Can I still join the 9:05am daily service?

A: No — that service is closed to new members (existing members were grandfathered). The daily tip is now exclusive to the 10 Platinum spots. If you want daily tips, the Platinum waitlist is the way in.

Q: Why is Platinum limited to 10 people?

A: If everybody gets the tip, nobody gets the price. Ten people can get set at the quoted odds; a thousand can't. That's the entire value of the cap — and why Platinum costs what it does.

Q: How does the waitlist work?

A: Join via the signup form. Spots open when a member leaves or pauses — waitlisted people are offered them in order, and we sometimes offer temporary weekly memberships while a member is on holiday.

Q: How do payments work?

A: Through the Beem app (owned by EFTPOS) — a payment request each week, month or quarter. No direct debits, no card details stored, stop any time. You get 24 hours to pay a request; two consecutive missed weeks ends the membership.

Q: What account tools do I have?

A: Up to 4 weeks holiday a year, a pause option, and opt-out any time (unused payments refunded minus one week's admin fee). Just message us in your tips chat or email.

Q: How do you prevent tip sharing?

A: Memberships are cancelled for sharing tips outside the paying community — it ruins prices for the people paying for them. Same for repeatedly hammering prices before other members get set.
